Beautiful truth.
 Quoting: *Saylor*

Thanks. It is an important book to me. I spend time meditating on it often. Why not? Look at the promise in the first line:

(1) And he said, "Whoever finds the interpretation of these sayings will not experience death."

Most books are like if you follow and learn this completely you will be an expert basket weaver or be knowledgeable of Chemistry and such....
 Quoting: Waterglass

The parables of Jesus are some of the greatest spiritual lessons on this earth.
 Quoting: ~Newton's Own~

Oh my yes. I like the lost books more though. Nag hammadi, Dead Sea Scrolls...

Not because I'm trying to be different just because they are less altered. I like it all though.
 Quoting: Waterglass

Wisdom can be found many places.

I stick to the bible these day, too much new age spiritual hooey out there for my taste.
A coward dies a thousand times, but the valiant need taste of death but once.

I prefer trees.

You can learn lot from a tree.
 Quoting: ~Newton's Own~

Deep.

A tree stays rooted and reaches for the heavens. The wind may come and a tree should always bend and not break :)

Fun question: Which version of the Bible? I have noticed some pretty significant changes in meaning in verses in the different versions, based on the interpretation of the group that released it, over the years..

Re: What would you say to him?
I think the pictures of ole art of the halos above the head were painting a parable of sorts. . When the crown chakra is activated the energy goes around the top of the head like a halo. It feels like a warm peace and complete love and can be rely circling like a ring. It is a sign of enlightenment /anointing.

Many secrets that have been hidden can be discover in art...what was Mona Lisa smiling about anyways? Lol

Also, the famous painting of man reaching up touching fingers with GOD to me seems to be acknowledgement of higher spirit reaching lower spirit in completion. A cyclic flow of eternity with man in flesh form understanding and reaching gnosis of who/what he truly is.

So many layers.

Just random thoughts.

Over his ..story some have hidden this knowledge to protect it and some to use it against humanity.

The difference between both is intention. There is a way of protecting and sharing.

It is balance and it is what awakens mankind into the golden age.

Ok need a nap now. Catch you all in a bit,

One last thing. When we are told to forgive for they know not what they do it makes complete sense.

For if they knew they would realize they only hurt themselves. Know thyself. Be kind to yourself.

Note that this sort of "halo" glow occurs in other religions, such as Buddhism.

T'is, I suspect, an attempt at depicting the Light that emanates from a truly authentic Holy Person. This Light is the Light of the Universe shining through them, so to speak.

It's like an artists rendition of what this Zen verse is talking about:

This mind, perfectly and fully realized,
Moves with a clear, tranquil spiritual awareness.
It encompasses heaven, covers the earth,
Penetrates form, and rides upon sound.
It is a boundless openness;
It is a summit rising with forbidding abruptness.
It is a radiant light shining from the crown of your head,
Illuminating wherever you are;
It is an awesome wind, rising up at each step you take,
Enveloping all things
If you are able to make this mind your own,
Then even though you do not seek excellence yourself,
Excellence comes to you of its own accord.
Without seeking emancipation,
You are not hindered by a single thing.

- Zen Master Daito (1235-1308)

That's opinion!

He understood . He knew he would be fine as he was in the world yet not of it.

Well, yes it is a technicality perhaps to the overall message. I just meant to be in darkness and ignorance of what is right is easier to forgive than knowing consistent transgression.

Note: who did he yell and go ballistic at quite often?

Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.

This is just me though. I "get" what you are saying. I'm just obsessed with accuracy to the finest detail.

Did he though for sure when he took on flesh like all of us? You are putting words, knowings, thoughts etc. there that sound nice but may or may not be true based on what is recorded. Point is, he may have not known but rather exercised 100% faith and trust in the Father with his next statement.

I hate this also though. Well, yes it is true. But people use it to justify all kind of debauchery to themselves.

Do what you love? What if you love gambling?

Pedo: I love little boys and am helping them grow and develop and learn about their bodies...

And on and on. Let's not get sloppy. There are very strict examples, guidelines, and ways to be righteous. To just say love is sloppy in the human form because humans have polluted the word so much that they should almost come up with a new word to denote the love from God!

And yet is is the goal of every legit religion, behind the cultural baggage. It's what Jesus was teaching his Disciples.

We are all familiar with this phenomena by now, around here ;)

But he corrected himself and finally was free, in the end.
