Hey bro.

What you got on your plate today?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14636941

Quiet house, a few loads of laundry, my wife is coming home for lunch, and a little work.

Light plate today, just the way I like it.

Nice.. sounds pleasant..

It’s my wife’s day off today, so it’s our highlight of the week..

We’ve been playing Strange Brigade lately, a funny zombie horde shooter with puzzles and whatnot..

Needless to say, it’s a good day.

Nice man, always a good time for family time.

Judging by the state of the world, enjoy every moment you get.

Yeah, I’ve always had a talent for living in the moment, regardless of the maelstrom around me..

It’s all about recognizing what’s actually there to interact with. Can’t get lost in what hasn’t happened yet or has long passed, save the energy for what is happening around you and the joy will find you.

Maybe it’s my experience on the streets, but enjoying the moment is kinda my thing.. chuckle

We have considered going out and buying a firearm today though.. that seems prudent atm.. lol

I hear ya, ive learned much the same, but I'm also a worst case scenario thinker, courtesy of my dad.

If you don't have a weapon, I'd suggest getting one.

A 12 gauge shotgun is a great place to start for home defense.

I stagger number 4 shot and 00 buck in mine.

We’re just thinking of getting a second one and stocking up on some bullets just in case.

Rremember, it could happen in the dead of night, someone kicks in your door, your groggy and have to click right.

That's when training kicks in, and also why a riot shotgun is so valuable, but teach her at the range to draw and cycle a weapon.

Its all over in a few seconds and you'll want those seconds to count.

I'm preaching, I know, but defense preparedness is what I'm all about in this world.

If you look it up, I'm sure you'll find some combat training companies in your area that do training, and that is a bitchin investment for your whole fam.

I'm pissed I may be sending my son and nephew to war so bankers can make more fucking money.

I don't cuss much but I'm fucking pissed.

Its not like were fighting for freedom, or to liberate a country, no, we die for oil and profits.

All the same, they signed up, its their choice ultimately.

I just wish I could tell them to stay home and go in their place, at least I know what I'm walking into.
