Probably some 80 year old that has been playing the lottery for 50 years....they bought the ticket and died before the drawing and it is now in a drawer somewhere nobody has looked.

NO WAY anyone who won that much would sit on the ticket for weeks....not only would there be a huge chance something could happen to the ticket, the person could get killed in an accident, put in a coma, etc...it doesnt take a ton of time to set up anything, you call a good lawyer and say, I need you to represent me and help me set this up once I go claim it. Then you go get your money. The lottery themselves give guidance and help when you win anyway, they don't just give a billion in an account with a debit card and say good luck.

Anyone who has waited this long is a real idiot. That could set up their family and friends for life, and future generations. Only an moron would take that chance.

While you do make good points, Booboo Kitty Truck, for me due to recent family developments had I won this lottery money I'd make myself vanish and give my family nothing. I'd make myself vanish so I could get my head straightened out in private, and generally do my best to figure out which of my past dreams are realistic enough to revive then execute said dreams to the best of my abilities.
