I volunteer sometimes to pick up the family of veterans who are in the hospital. This guy was in for major surgery. His daughter flew in to be with him. I volunteered to pick her up because my wife was one of the RNs taking care of him.
I was stuck in traffic half a mile from the hospital so the vapid, suburbanite spandex trash could finish their shitty little race.
You're narcissism is repugnant. And before any marathon cultist chime in, I ran a few triathlons when I was younger and have been a lifelong boxer, wrestler, and crew rower. And I still workout daily. I'm not against exercise, I am against this banal need to be seen exercising.
By the way, the man ended up intubated before we got to the damn hospital. And while he likely be extubated and able to see his family, he's not out of the woods and there's a chance he never gets to speak with his family again because you jogging fucktards think you're awesome.
Quoting: Tatoonie_Wizard That's so sad that his daughter didn't visit him before his condition became so serious and that they might not get to speak to each other again. I always thought it was so important to call or visit elderly parents on a regular basis before it's too late. Quoting: nutmeg She came in from Texas. He had a son present when he was tubed. I'm waiting, as is his family, for him to be extubated.
