UNIVERSITY BANS THE USE OF CAPITAL LETTERS - "too scary" for the snowflake students

Even the logo on the university entrance says it all- the ship/fortress floating on the turbulent sea is sinking... Social and political 'scientists' are (have been) working hard to subvert the dominant power paradigm (Us... western colonial culture)- it is the 'death by 1,000 cuts' model for bringing the giant down.

The 'hard sciences' really ought to just step-in and call these fools. Ask/Demand the empirical evidence supporting their unprecedented claim and massive move in policy. WHERE is the empirical support (in the form of hard-data driven evidence, peer-reviewed journal articles, open debate in a forum type setting...) that removing things deemed 'offensive' or stress-inducing is in fact a move in the proper direction? I have yet to hear one good reason, or any reason at all for that matter. My (and likely many others I'm guessing) life's experience has taught me that adversity is not only an impetus to growth and learning, it is the ONLY direct means which consistently works every time (unless you are insane).

Students at Manchester have voted to ban clapping over fears noise could trigger anxiety and suggest using "jazz hands" to show appreciation.
