There are just a couple days out of the year, generally speaking, that make up the losses and get the market into the overall average of 12% Quoting: BRIEF Sometimes there are down years! Yet the market sustains 12% 12% doesn't sound like much until you consider compounding. Compounding the 12% generates a doubling of your total invested assets every 6 years!! 10k becomes 20k in the first 6 years. The next 6 years (12 total) you're at 40k, year 18 and you're up to 80k without lifting a finger... mmm hm, making money out of fat air. it's all stolen from other reserves around the world, and shifted around like a hot potato. absolutely nothing legitimate about the "stole" market. No, the investor is buying a piece of that company...it's an interest only loan... I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. Quoting: iSwear See tards, when the price housing goes up too high, people can't spend money on other shit. So retail sales take a hit. Low interest rates make it hard for the bond market (10x+ larger than the stock market) and corporate liquidity for payrolls become pinched. Money is moving out of stocks into more stable long term yield bonds. Tech companies are over valued, as is the whole stock market in general. This is not a crash. This is a knee jerk reaction and bears taking advantage with puts. By December, once the sales numbers come in, all this hype will be a faded memory in lieu of the next doom boner. Every market I research housing prices are going down. I bought a house in 2012 for pennies on the dollar at the bottom of the 2008 subprime mortgage fiasco. I chose to pay it off; best decision of my life. I'm free to invest now with no overhead of rent or a mortgage. It's now worth over double what I paid for it in 2012; roughly 125% more in "value". That type of rapid escalation of housing prices isn't maintainable and must be reigned in with higher interest rates. Housing prices have been flat or in slight decline in 2018 because people are finding it very difficult to come up with a down payment, let alone pay a huge mortgage. Part of the problem with expensive housing is when large speculative investor groups buy up housing for rentals which artificially drives prices up even further. Pretty soon, it's all most people can do to pay rent. Much less think about buying a home. These interest rate hikes are a needed response. |
