Hasn't lifted a finger. Meanwhile. .. Homelessness continues to become a larger problem daily. He has helped prisoners, refugees, immigrants. Homelessness is out of control.
Hand up, not out Trump.

I travel a lot, meet many homeless. City after city, they're all the same. Shelters are full, shelters are corrupted as hell and the groups who get help are women with many screaming brats (where are the fathers), African Americans (prisoners, again) and refugees.

Wtf gives?

Just trying to help my brothers and sisters who are desperate for answers.
Ive called governors, even met with one.
Wrote Trump and never heard back.

Women are sleeping on floors tonight.

When saying your thanksgiving prayers this holiday... Don't forget to be thankful you aren't homeless and have affordable housing. Many do not.

There is no "cookie cutter" solution. People need assessment.
211 (coordinated entry) is a scam and another bottom feeding org.
Churches are getting wealthy living off the homeless.
Bottom feeders.

The help that IS given goes to help those who really don't need any help. Story after story .Same story.

The following statistics are alarming: 564,708 people in the U.S. are homeless. According to a recent report, over half a million people were living on the streets, in cars, in homeless shelters, or in subsidized transitional housing during a one-night national survey last January.Jun 21, 2018.

Did you know that over 44% of homeless people have jobs? Seems rather odd. People working but can't find affordable housing. That is absolutely unacceptable.

Yet we are asking our states to legalize more drugs?? Okay. I don't get it.
Interestingly most of the states with legalized marijuana have a much higher (no pun) homeless population. Weird. Facts.
Drinking is a drug.
Drugs are drugs. Doctors pump them full of legal drugs, don't they?
Maybe they want more homeless. Wish granted.

Well help whomever you can yourself even if it's like a drop in the ocean.

Here we can donate bags of food, clothing, money, whatever we have to give.

Some will con you tho and sell everything you give them for drugs.
A nice Quaker pastor I knew took one home and fed, housed and clothed him. When the pastor came home one day, everything in his house was gone.

Not too many of them are true homeless, but they are drug addicted and President Trump is trying to do something, especially about the use of prescription drugs.
Meanwhile, good citizens like the rest of us can't afford the drugs we need to live. I'd like to see that addressed and maybe it was as the man in charge was "suicided".

First of all, states like California and cities like Chicago and Detroit have openly declared their territories to be "trump free zones" immediately after Trump mentioned he would do something about their crime and homeless problems if they didn't act soon to take care of it.

Second, Trump is bringing back jobs to America on a large scale. How is that not helping the homeless? What do you want? More government handouts? Why do you think all these thousands of illegal aliens are trying to storm the border right now like never before? So they can be homeless and jobless??? ummmmm, MAYBE it's because they want to be the first in line to get all these new jobs that are coming back to the USA??? hmmmm???? maybe??? What do you think, Sherlock?

Trump has single-handedly brought the unemployment rate down to lowest point in decade - maybe over 50 years !!!

That is plenty of help

Every fast food place and WalMart is hiring

It's the Democrats that have ruined California since they took over in 1990

And the same for Democrat run cities

Tent cities are only in Democrat run areas

Homelessness would be much less if people would see voting for Democrats is voting for HOMELESSNESS

Jobs are great, I agree but where will they live? Walmart and fast food workers can't afford $850 to $1200 rents. After so much time being homeless, credit scores must be terrible. ..references poor. How do refugees obtain these places? People getting kickbacks for helping them? That needs fixing. Appreciate your comment.

I have zero tolerance for people who do these drugs but don't work.
No more help (of ANY kind) for drug addicts.
No free food, no free shelters, no free homes and sure as hell...no social security! So many drug users are on social security! Its sickening. Ive met people who have worked well into their 40's and 50's who got injured and cant get any help because social security is so back logged by fake mental illness due to drug abuse. Chronic pain is very real, I understand (I suffer with it daily having Trigeminal Neuralgia now for 10 years!) and I work! Sometimes all people need is rest and therapy, perhaps a new occupation. THAT is what social security is for. If you get social security for schizophrenia because you shot meth up your whole life... You deserve a mental ward, not a free ride.

People who work and are homeless should be helped BEFORE anyone else in this country. That is NOT what is happening. Not at all. Those people working and living in homeless sheltera need a place to live before a single woman with 5 kids she had no business having. Instead we reward bad behavior.

You side with broken people ... Got it !
They need a champion. ...truly

Most of them have been through every friend and relative and used up all their good will and chances.

They didn't make a bad choice or two - they are incapable of making any good choices ...

Every family has that ONE person that drags the whole system down to support them and their errant ways - drugs - lack of employment - lack of social -emotional intelligence - while often not lacking intelligence.

I believe parents should play "lifeguard" and pull in children that are sinking - and keep them and build them to go back out and try again in the big world - for life . We do that for our family member- who is not a child.

To suggest that The President of the United States should pay attention to our social failures who have no family and friends they haven't abused along with the drugs is nonsense.

There are social service organizations for them - set up a program to put temp offices near tent cities and enroll them for welfare and work and health programs. Done.

Unfortunately progressives believe that the more homelessness the easier to SMEAR the President as a failure - and have these cities off-limits to help.

This is a political war with humans stuck in the middle - a travesty of justice.

Research shows the best way to help underperforming students is NOT remedial work - it is by ONLY rewarding the BEST WORK and giving enrichment programs for all .

Underperforming citizens need enrichment for career and life skills - not help to continue failing .

Non citizens should be REMOVED - given a BUS ticket and a BOX Lunch back to where they can from.

Your compassion is noted.

What do you propose to do about it?

I propose if homeless have no housing they can afford - get them a job and a room in a place where they can afford it. A bus ticket and a box lunch too.

California doesn't want them - it's for Ritchie Rich only - you missed the memo. Liberal elites will let these people suffer and sell them drugs until they leave or die - no compassion whatsoever there.

Activists should help these people get jobs and MOVE to where they are wanted .
