Astrology is popularly considered to be a rather surface fitz-all prediction for all people born on one birth day or even one month. This is a rather useless caricature of natal astrology. But what I think OP is talking about is a branch called electional astrology, which has to do with events. There is also horary astsrology, which deals with questions, and mundane, which covers nations. That one keeps me thinking astrology is not so logical Minutes can make a difference, a big difference, in astrology, as both the moon and the ascendant degrees change rapidly. Fraternal twins do not squeeze out of the birth canal side by side, and can be separated by even more than one hour. A study done in 1984 included one case in which the birth time was 134 minutes, with the average (including the one very long duration and one very sort duration) being 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes will make a significant difference in the rising sign, which is the visible person, and the moon too. Both can change signs and aspects to other planets, as well as other determining factors such as decanates and fixed stars as well as individual degrees.
