I don't know if it's another dimension but I go somewhere that isn't here.

i have trouble sleeping and when I do I wake up terrified for no reason its stays with me for hours after I wake too

System reboot. Also its a great way to escape from a shitty day...there's nothing quite like a good nights sleep to reset a bad day.

Mallworld, Campusworld, and former jobs are common scenarios.
Woke up in a sweat 2 hours ago from the job one.
They tend to show the job today if I went back.

It means a respite from all the crap I must endure in this life just to survive....if i had the nerve I would 'go to sleep' forever and rid myself of all the terrible depression and loneliness.

I love my sleep I’m an early to bed, early to rise kinda girl. Solid 8hrs every night. When I was younger I suffered terribly with insomnia mostly due anxiety and overthinking things. As I got older I learned how to meditate and relax a lot that really helped.

It's the process of defraging...to process and store information and remove the garbage data...

Dreaming is watching this process happen while your brain tries to interpret it.

I love thinking about my dreams though...they mean nothing to anyone but yourself

In the last dream I can remember, I saw a giant monster swallow up a small version of me (I wasn't myself, though, but some small thing I can't recall). A dog jumped into the monster's mouth to rescue me and wrapped itself around me, then the monster shat us both out. Has anyone else been to that dimension?

I don't sleep. Nor do I give two greasy fucks if you don't believe me. It isn't a healthy, pleasant life I assure you.

Sleep is beautiful and blissful, the worst torture I could think of is prolonged sleep deprivation.

If you want better sleep you need to do these things:

Vitamin D3 protected by K2 daily
Magnesium chelated at bedtime
20 minutes of day light without sunglasses outside daily
no naps
avoid caffeine and stimulants
treat depression and or anxiety full on
Exercise 30 minutes daily

Sleep is...terrifying usually.
I go to sleep at about 9pm. My boyfriend, bless him, watches and listens for me.If I did not go to sleep this early, he would be sleeping when I start to cry and hyperventilate and it would be worse because I can't get out of the dream. I usually only do it the first 2-3 hours into sleeping, so he stays up until 12 almost always.

He wakes me from the torment of my DREAMS. Sometimes it is several times a night. I always wake the same..I am crying and hyperventilating.When he wakes me, I will tell him whatever the dream was and then I fall back asleep and another one starts!!

I have had 3 sleep studies done. My last one was 10 months ago. After I had that one, the team that watched me actually sent me a thank you card for allowing them to be a part of my experience. IDK if that is standard practice, but I did not get that from my other studies.

All I found out from them is that I go into a deep state and my BP changes, breathing changes and I actually start shaking and sweating when I am in them. I also thrash around alot.
My dreams are beyond an experience. They are always PROFOUND.I KNOW I AM DREAMING. I tell myself I am dreaming inside of the dream. I have been killed in my dreams TWICE that was actually a death and I knew I was gone. So one fact is ..if you die in your dreams.. no, you do not die in fact.So many people ask me that.
My entire family knows about this problem. They all watch for me when I sleep. Thanksgiving I fell asleep in the chair after eating and they woke me because I did not need to sleep then. The only absolute fact I know is that if I EAT within 3 hours of sleeping..BOOM..the horror is signicantly worse. I ususally do not eat after 4pm because of this.

It is horrible..knowing it is coming.....

Alas, I am quite resigned to the dreams and so I just expect them.If only I could SHOW them..they are breathtaking.

Your question has me wondering again..WHY?

Sleep is a GIFT from God.

I never thought of dreams that way - defragging. I will keep this thought in mind for tonight.
