The volcano near us was roaring about an hour and a half ago, and, then, suddenly there was a huge eruption of lava that shot far higher and was so much bigger than normal.

The people in Ciudad Vieja (nearer the volcano) are all on top of their homes watching, but, the houses won't stop shaking.

Our emergency response system is saying that it is still within the 'normal' range, but, we all disagree.

This volcano normally spews out one side. This time, for the first in history, it is coming out toward us. The tourist town of Antigua.
