Unfortunately, that's not always the case. Sex offenders usually get put in or opt to be put in Protective Custody. I've only spent time in county and that's usually what happens. It would be nice if there was more old school prison/jail justice for these motherfuckers.

There used to be a CO at the local county jail who would pull a weirdo's paperwork and make sure it was known to us before the weirdo had a chance to get rid of it.
