Well if this is the case, then I'm unabashedly proud to be freakin' bat shit crazy.

From the get-go, I NEVER even was tempted with ANY of the social media over the years.

And I refer everyone who does so, "just to fit in"...remember AOL? Remember how intrusive it was and crept/ate it's way into your computer and everything on it? I relate these sites/media to be exactly the same...pokin' into everything else, while you think it's not.

For the longest time, I had a very cheap flip phone and, like other posters here, that's all I needed. After awhile, it became cumbersome and they started jacking up the pricing for time etc. and was told that they weren't "supporting" non-smartphones as much anymore...yada yada, corporate mouthing.

So I just recently shelled out for a Galaxy S9 Plus. Scared the crap outta me at first how it would "automatically set up". I knew this was coming and walked into it with the plan...override/kill/delete/switch off many functions and added huge "tool" functionality.

Now it's an amazing machine and I love it...literally a work engine for planning and organizing life...without all the game/social media/bloat. People are amazed when I show it and it's "clean". Weirds them out.

Use the machine, don't let it use you.
