my family members punish me for not having a facebook account and I refuse to text ... they leave me completely out of the loop ... no pictures, no funny stories, I don't hear from them for months at a time, because I'm not a "user" and I refuse to get addicted like they all are...
not like I don't e-mail, or have a phone ... not good enough

but to be honest, I really don't miss the drama - especially when it is so superficial (virtue signaling) - I do miss honest conversation - but haven't had one of those in years
