Under the Obama administration, officials concluded in 2010 that bump stocks were a weapon accessory and clear from federal regulation.

At Trump’s direction, the Justice Department submitted a proposed rule this year that upended the Obama-era interpretation and concluded that bump stocks and similar devices fall within the prohibition on machine guns, making them illegal under federal law.

Not sure if anyone here really bothers to do their homework but any law passed comes down to working so lets not kid ourselves.of course thats by design. The florida ban according to lawyers is written vaguely so as to possibly include any and all non stock triggers. Hyperfire makes a 24c and one called the eclipse. Great light triggers and yet according to some even those would be illegal under the florida ban.How is it illegal for them not to clarify is what i dont get. How can a law even be enforced if sellers of a product dont know said product is illegal??

If you want bursts, you just load mags with one primer fired round followed by as many automatic rounds as you want. They're pretty simple to make, they cook off when chambered.

Banning bump stocks is the start of a very slippery slope.

You can ban the production, importation, transportation, and sale of something but you can't take away property. They could make them NFA items and tax the carp out of them but that would be another BATF mess...

Bumpstocks are a range toy. Trump is banning them as a way to appeal to to the Libtards and yet not actually infringe real marksmen.
