I'm losing inches more than weight, for now. I eat whatever I want for dinner, but still stay away from sodas. Coffee and water during the day only. It's easier now than when I first started. Quoting: *~Chloe~* I swear the biggest fallacies were "breakfast is the most IMPORTANT meal of the day!" And, "If you starve your body your metabolism will slow to a crawl." Both turned out to be totally not true, and I feel better than ever. And the weight loss came EASY. I was shocked, honestly. Trisherella |

If I don’t eat, I definitely get a headache and sometimes feel nauseous. Quoting: Little Red Hen I was worried about that, I had headaches the first couple days. I would pop an aspirin and drink a cup of coffee. After about a week, I no longer experienced that. Trisherella |

Then started intermittent fasting since September. Lost 15 lbs with flat stomach. I chose 18/6 hour window. I eat whatever I want during 6 hours. I drink black coffee in the morning and drink water in the evening. Sleeping well. Quoting: Beautiful mind Did you mean 8 hour window? Whether it is 6 or 8, what is your designated time to splurge? Trisherella User ID: 76809166 United States 12/01/2018 02:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've started my New Year's resolution early. Ate way too much this Thanksgiving and don't want to get slammed with even more pounds this Christmas. Quoting: ElleMira Here are my questions: I did keto over a year ago to lose a stubborn 10 - 15 lbs and have nearly gained it all back - which is so frustrating that I don't know I want to do keto again. After I lose the weight, how do I keep it off? I'm in my 40s, will I need to change my diet permanently? Also, I haven't reached menopause yet but have friends that have and they say it's nearly impossible to lose the weight after menopause - especially belly fat because of hormones. Does intermittent fasting help or hinder a woman's hormonal balance? In other words, if I go off the diet, will the weight (and then some) come back? What about exercise? While on keto I had a hard time losing those final lbs, my friend (who was also on keto) said it was because I exercise too much and the body holds onto the weight with too much exercise - I've googled and found conflicting information on this. With intermittent fasting, can I still engage in moderate exercise? (I walk about 3 - 5 miles a day). I don't consider this a diet, it's a new way of life. (If I go out on the weekend, I make sure THAT'S the meal, so I incorporate that) I am past menopause, 57, and this is the ONLY way I was able to take off the stubborn middle age weight gain. I exercised a little bit, but it was pretty minimal and definitely NOT responsible for my weight loss. A couple times a week I might walk for 15-20 minutes, that's it. It was all about the fasting. As I said, the first week was tough, after that, the EASIEST thing I ever did. No other diet came close. No other diet gave me any kind of success. Trisherella |

Cows, which we for many generations depended on as a sort of living filter to get the toxins our of our environment, even started producing proteins which gave us crohns. Now we have to switch back to a more primitive cow. Nothing likes us here. Not eating so much can help, but ideally we need another food source. |

That's true. After the meal my motivation for workout diminishes. So I do my most workouts before dinner. |

If I don’t eat, I definitely get a headache and sometimes feel nauseous. Quoting: Little Red Hen Yep, and you can give yourself brain damage via ketosis. The brain needs constant supply of glycogen or it will malfunction. Ketone bodies aren't enough to keep it functioning properly. The headaches you experience are the result of brain damage kicking in. Snd the nausea is keto flu - caused by depressed immune system. Idiot with the glycogen nonsense. Total bs dude. My brains never worked better wtf is this low glycogen crap? lol Read up some more before commenting ffs anonymouse1119 |

Plants are toxic need to be made less toxic. In the meantime, not asking your immune system to deal with the poison you are eating as food frees up more of your little immune fish to go swim away from the intestine and work on the periphery and deal with the toxins you are wading through. |
