Hearing the sirens going off in their background is so PTSD inducing from Northridge when every single car alarm in LA went off at the same time pretty much (I lived in the San Fernando valley during Northridge). I was in that one too. Ugh; it was a bad one. Listening to the local radio station KFQD on iTune radio; the anchors mention each and every aftershock...I feel so bad for them. After Nothridge, remember how the earth really didn’t stop shaking for 2 weeks straight? It was like jello. And plenty of aftershocks after that too, just not continually. My heart goes out to any of you in the Anchorage area right now. |
