Why do you have to pay retail prices for your drugs in the USA?

I don't understand it. Here you pay a set price per prescription (£8.80 I think at the moment) if the drug costs more its the NHS who pays the rest.

And If you are disabled like me or out of work or pregnant prescriptions are free.

I just wish albuterol was OTC and cheap.

That's where they get you . . . we have an opiod epidemic because opiates are cheap (and produced by big pharma) but real, needed, life-time medications cost a fortune.

My mother got blood transfusion back in the 80's while giving birth to my younger brother. As a result, she contracted Hepatitis C. It manifest in the mid 90's.

The medication (after the 80% paid by insurance) was about $8,000 a month. She managed to get in touch with the manufacturer and they accepted the 80% as fuul payment.

Healthcare is already suffering. And tanking...fast.

We already provide free "clinicas" for welfare and illegals. But they demand FREE state-of-the-art medical care that we Americans pay thousands of dollars for.

And because they know they don't have to pay a dime... they ABUSE the system. They call the ambulance for a tummy ache or a stubbed toe.

No lie...the majority of people who come into the ER via ambulance...are welfare recipients and illegals

They get ambulance rides, helicopter air-vac rides and ER visits...all FREE

Hospitals then have to overcharge Americans to cover the severe financial loss of illegals

So, if these illegals get in...be prepared to wait in line 10x longer and pay 10x more than you do now

We need the alt media to start covering more news like this and less news about the antiTrump comments and antics of washed-up celebrities

Insulin that used to cost me $25 is now $475 for 10mL.

Even worse my medicare that I paid into for 45 years (and I still pay a monthly premium that Social Security deducts directly from my retirement each month) does NOT cover insulin, even though I've been diabetic for 20 years.

Even worse, my 32 year old son is dead now from mixed prescription drug toxicity. All prescriptions given him by his family doctor.

The US Healthcare System is designed to kill all of us. TRUTH!

I dont pay any taxes, haven't for nearly 20 years besides council tax (which is mandatory) but thats for public services not the NHS.

First off, I'm truly sorry for your loss.

Secondly, the health system is meant to kill us, but it is meant to do it slowly and painfully.

The air and the water are poisoned. The food is poisoned. Doctors choose not to stress the importance of exercise and diet but substitute those benefits with designer drugs.

Every drug has a side effect. The more drugs one takes, the more drugs one needs. To keep the prescription for the now-needed drugs filled one has to work 60 hours a week.

The stress and the rat race takes it's toll on the individual. The person reports the stress to the doctor, more meds are given.

With old age comes joint pain. Now the doc gives you opiates. Because TPTB have determined that long-term pain patients need methadone administered by a government clinic, at 50 years old the law abing citizen is turned into a drug addict.

More meds are needed to deal with the stress and fatigue of juggling daily trips to the methadone clinic, working the 60 hour week and pretending to lead a normal life.

Between the doctors and the meds TPTB have created a defacto slave state out of most Americans.

Oh we have disabled people here too that are cared for by Medicare and Social Security, that is until the guy with excruciating back pain is caught water skiing or shingling his roof. Trust me it's common, because there is no test for pain.

They get caught here too. Anybody can report a disabled fraud and they get put under surveilance here. If fake they get taken to court and have to pay the monies back they claimed and sometimes serve prison time too.

Should have compassion I mean what parents want to the cemetary or moseleam on there sons birthday?
