Upon further review, it does seem like the French are pissed. Did someone take away their bread again?

Not surprising, France is a Military state I don't know if people realize this, when you have a problem want to file a complaint or something, get a ticket, dui and shit like that you deal with the military (most of the time), the Gendarmes are military personnel.

not picking on you, but the French revolution started 1789. Ours ran from 1775 - 1783.

of course, without financing from the French & Dutch, and without French military [Lafayette], well, who knows what may have happened.

Our revolutionary war took 8 YEARS TO WIN! and we were separated by an ocean and had the same weapons. think on that.

that is correct so forcing the first world to reduce emissions and pay taxes to the third world will only reduce slightly our pollution while greatly encouraging growth of pollution in the developing world.

If you watch how the police operate it's no wonder they can't take control..they are feckless.

Um they manage pretty well all without the aid of any guns or military ... You ask how because they are working class people with access to all of the big trucks, mass amounts of people. They have been shutting down the Toll roads and bridges and gas stations for weeks . The next step will be the post offices, the highways etc.
Once the big rig truck drivers get in on the action the country will SHUT THE FUCK down . No food in the grocery stores , there are already many in my area that are sparse.


NO GUNS OR ARMIES NEEDED.

There is a super expensive toll bridge by house and they charge something like 7 euros to cross it , normally they have thousands of people crossing over - lately nada not one car.

People in my area aren't even put out by it , everyone is pissed off . They stick together and organise and feed each other.

I listened for 2 seconds before I started rolling my eyes , first of all basically everyone does support this here and people are fairly non chalant about violence .

The estimates of demonstrators are widely known to be underestimated, France Insoumise broke it down and it's ridiculous.
