I believe this is the unspoken truth--in Europe and the USA. The resistence in Europe is hidden from Americans to a large degree. Even so, sometimes things leak out--like the demonstration in Milano a couple of years ago. The issue was, just why is it that Italian pensioners are expected to starve while Muslims are getting fat. The average Joe, Hans, Charles and Pablo is fed up with this bullshit.

On the other side, there are government ministers and the president with their fabulous salaries. I’m not against the rich, I just want a fairer distribution of wealth in France. This is the first time I’ve been on a protest.
