All you early risers, I'm the opposite. I always feel like I missed everything coming in later. tounge I usually go to bed about 4 am and don't get up until noon or 1:00 whenever I feel like it.

I have bad insomnia at times, sometimes down to just 3 hrs a night for a stretch of weeks or even months. Right now, I'm sleeping ok, so whenever I feel like I can sleep I do!

I just got a new oven when my apt was remodeled. Oh, how I wish they had purchased self cleaning ovens!

I know they probably cost more, but seeing how the maintenance guys are always so jammed up, I wonder if it wouldn't have evened out in labor costs. I know a lot of people leave their apt a dump when they move. I know how much I hate cleaning my own oven, I can't imagine having a job that often included that duty. Yuk!!

I'm making breakfast tonight. It's one of my favorite foods. I got some ham slices out of the freezer. I'm going to make sandwiches with ham, egg, & cheese on marble rye toast. Oh, and some hash browns, too!

I was set on this for dinner, but I forgot to check eggs before I went to the store. I had to go back in time and borrow eggs from a neighbor. At least, I have one neighbor that I can get food from. The rest I either don't know... or know well enough to know not to take food from. chuckle

I'm unaware of any restriction on that.

In my job I've worn my hair shoulder-length with a full beard and had no complaints. Now I keep it looking more like a cop's but it's been a couple of months since getting it cut so I need to have it trimmed again.

I'd post my picture but... trollage, so it won't ever be on the forum.

No onion on his belt is a dealbreaker right there!

If he works for NASA he'll have a .Gov ID card typically used for building access.

With this Governor Northam B.S. going on in the Virginia Capitol access to certain streets is restricted, card readers are being installed on doors, locations, and buildings they never have been previously.

And the real b*tch is they have quit adding our ID cards to them as the number of people legitimately needing access was beyond their estimates. It will be Friday before my access 'everywhere' is restored and understood by the various new security measures.

Man I wish I liked baking a little more. I guess I need to learn to like it since that's becoming my primary pain/stress relief method these days.

I was great when I woke up and then do too a social security screw up, my husband came get his diabetes meds. I'm sure he will be fine without them, but it's the point.

He's been going back and forth with them for almost two months now over his "Extra Help". It pays his drug premiums, which is not as lot but we still have to pay it.

Today, we found out that without that extra help, His Invokana will cost over $200 instead of the usual $6 copay. gaah

I cannot imagine how anyone can live without 'help' on their prescription costs.

Today I needed a prescription filled and it was turned down. So the pharmacist changed the prescription herself and worked through over half a dozen different prescriptions and instead of the generic they have filled for ten years for me they now only cover the highest priced medications, and do so at 100%.

Our system of healthcare is hopelessly fucked.

A typical prescription for me filled at the pharmacy...

med3

...while someone else cannot afford their $300 copay.

I would gladly pay $25 if it meant others could afford their medications.

Edit to add - the pharmacist laughed at the idea they won't pay for a $19 prescription, instead demanding they use a $1,500 medication instead and Anthem pays me $200 to make and keep an appointment to see a doctor.

Total medical fuckery.

The pharmacy said they would contact my doctor and see if he could recommend something else. I know there is no generic since it's a fairly new drug. It's aggravating as fuck because since he's been on this, his blood sugar has been really good. It sucks, but it's not the end of the world.

Sorry, I spilled it all here, but I feel better just bitching about it.hf

Re: GRILL CHEESSE N TOMATO SAMMMICH KIND OF NIGHT W/BLACK BEAN SOUP.......ITS RAINING
I have a HUGE confession to make ~ I baught organic onion granuals at the market today. lol. They didn’t have onion powder...just tiny pellets.
I imagine they disappear, correct?

Um, not if you don't like onions. They might still have some texture, which grosses me out.

Edit: What are you putting it in?

They are like sand in an hour glass.hourglass they share no visual likeness, or texture to onions...I was going to add a few teaspoons to beef stoup on Sunday for a bit of flavor...should I rethink the menu?

If you are going to cook it for a while, they should be ok.

Yeah, and in soup is different than shaking it onto something to season it, like a hamburger where it wouldn't melt down.

We have a NASA research facility right up the road. I didn’t want to ask the kid too many questions, but relieved to know he probably passed some type of back ground check. lol

I didn't quite notice ^this^ last night as the world was a little 'fuzzy'. And you know I've never figured out why when I drink it affects the entire world, leaving it fuzzy while I remain unaffected.

Just one of those mysteries of life I imagine.

Well without revealing your location to others, I suspect this song pretty much locates that research station.

...now I'm getting teary listening to this. It brings up such memories of home.

Life was supposed to be something whose autumn years are spent in partnership with a beloved other, not continual conflict.

Curious, what does the wife say when you tell her how you feel?
Have you guys tried getting any help? I’m rooting for you!
