Re: GRILL CHEESSE N TOMATO SAMMMICH KIND OF NIGHT W/BLACK BEAN SOUP.......ITS RAINING
Good morning FFFF's <-- Fabulous Fellow Foodie Friends!

Mrs. Louis has again left for Lynchburg, I've dancing naked in the den, and am now heading up for a morning shower.

Busy day again ahead, the boss is out (he rarely bothers to come in on Fridays) so I must coordinate the staff and have a few tasks I too have planned.

I watched those 70's show videos; one of the best shows on in years.

Oh and I got an email overnight telling me my ID is now enabled for access through the new security measures around the Virginia Capitol. I'll see if it is again besieged by an angry mob today.

Breakfast plan is Italian sausage on English muffins! English Muffins? I wonder if Amish ones exist.

Never 'got around to memeing any of the God-like Dr. Sagan pics yesterday, I'll try harder today.

Be safe and make Dr. Sagan proud!!!

I too thought of her absence yesterday.

She has gone a few days at a time away but told us ahead of time. I hope all is okay with her; it has been 5 days since she last logged on.

This has been a ridiculously busy day here I am a half hour from leaving work and I'm only now going to go get my lunch or in this case mid-afternoon meal.

It was 80 degrees here yesterday, like 78 today. It's supposed to got down in the 50s tomorrow. So we've been out riding the motorcycle while it was nice!

I'm cooking the last of my thick chops from the freezer tonight. I bake them in a hot skillet with a bit of coconut oil.

I marinated them overnight in my go to: Worcestershire, soy, and red wine vinegar - 1/4 cup each. I'm sensitive to a lot of salt. The marinate has lots of salt, but it doesn't taste as salty to me as a marinade you buy.

I'm making some brown rice to go with leftover broccoli & mushrooms. I'll have a bit of the baked beans I'm making for my husband.

I'm a pretty darn good driver. I've made it a few miles in a foot of snow to the general store, with an old toyota (standard), with bald tires. Around here it is the threat of the Chinese...not to seem racist but...they can't drive in fine weather let alone foul.

I can get anywhere in a POS, they have 80K SUVs they can't get 50' in. Dangerous for me (who drives without a license under Common law), dangerous for them. It's a mess.

So, today I go to my little restaurant near work for a light lunch and ordered a bowl of wedding soup. Half way through, my waiter brings me a plate of organic chicken meatballs with pesto, served on a bed of polenta.
He says,”The staff just wanted to let you know how much we love you, and since you never order this, we thought you might enjoy it.
Our compliments...
He also braught me a shot of Jameson’s with my coffee. Right on!
I felt like the Queen of the World, and the Princess of Everything!
No dinner for me...I’m still stuffed. What an awesome day.

Bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant for breakfast.

Sitting here at Goodyear waiting on the truck oil to be changed then it's off to Kroger to buy something for dinner. Mrs. Louis doesn't want the steaks I have in the fridge as she's not feeling well today.

Spent the morning and early afternoon repressurizing the water tanks for the house and still getting much done while GLPing on breaks.

79 bucks for the oil change with a $10 discount because a Ford uses one more quart than another vehicle and I'm going with the full synthetic always.

I love my coconut oil. It's really good for you, too. I get the virgin oil meaning it still has the smell & taste of coconut. I think it lends a slight sweetness. I add it to my veggies instead of butter sometimes. I put in in my rice & broccoli last night.

I use it to fry things in a lot. I usually mix it with regular vegetable oil since the coconut is more expensive. You have to make sure you use a big enough pan though because it tends to foam up when you put the food in.

I'm jelly! That's one of my favorites!

They are awesome.

She wants me to bring home 'pork rinds' for her after the oil change. Apparently that will be her dinner, but I understand as when I don't feel well I often will want only some weird thing.

I'm not done with the outside water tank yet so I may buy the fixings for broccoli beef and prepare that while working or maybe I'll see something I didn't know I couldn't live without while finding her 'pork rinds'.

Very yum! I’ve never used coconut oil.
I’m off to work early today. I hit the snooze button 3 times.
I need more coffee.

I’m adding this to my shopping list. Can’t wait to try it!
I use walnut oil sometimes, but olive is my usual. The walnut oil is also great when making salad dressings. I like everything a bit nutty.lol

Mrs. Louis uses coconut oil in her cooking, yet says she is allergic to coconut in food. I don't see the difference, but whatever makes her happy, I always accommodate her.

I bought chow mein noodles (the dry crunchy things) and sliced water chestnuts to go with my broccoli and beef with garlic sauce. I'll cook it up later if I don't fall asleep in the den watching a show on Stonehenge and the people that were camping in it that vanished when lightning struck it in 1971 witnessed by the landowner and a police officer. Spooky!

I've watched two of the new shows DW posted about here two or three days ago, very interesting about deep state arrests, and the cybernetic intelligence autonomous based robotic army to only be loosed upon an alien invasion if it occurs.

We're about broke behind truck, bill, and life-necessity payments and purchases. That oil change is always about $12 more than I expect because Ford Trucks use six quarts oil vs. the five other vehicles use. I may have already posted that; I took a Surface laptop to Goodyear with me and fell asleep in a comfy chair in their lobby while posting--D'oh!!
