Can you tell us your pie crust secrets too? I know I'm working with a funky flour and I've always been intimated by pastry because it took my mom all day to make it. Or maybe it just felt like all day waiting to eat it! lol

I rolled it out and it turned into a snowflake! I don't know if I should be ashamed or proud!

I cut it in a circle and put the extra parts around the dish.

filled it up with filling and topped with another rolled out crust that I rolled more carefully from each tiny angle I turned it.

what do I do with the leftover filling? I have a quarter of it left.

yes I can tell you the pie crust secrets.. first one is to buy Ritz pie crust in the freezer section which I can no longer find but it was the best. second secret and importan one is bake on a cookie sheet for bottom crust to not be doughy like, and the third secret is my grandmas super simple best pie crust ever and I have to search that as well to make sure I have the measurements right for you all. peace

freeze it or make a bisquit and bake on top of it? that sounds better! hf
