How in heaven could such a thing happen? Oh boy - lots of heads be rolling out the door by morning. Monday - oh glory - a really bad day for many!

Not nearly as bad as the woman receiving the injection.

I keep telling anyone who will listen to stay far away from hospitals. A family member in the medical field told me that drug addiction among the medical staff is a HUGE problem with a lot of doctors and nurses impaired to deal with the hours and stress.

I would assume drugs like that...not needed for routine use...would be kept outside of a hospital setting...unless Vanderbilt does executions for the state on the side...

Like anyone is truly surprised?

More people die in hospitals than drunk driving, gun related and many other "accidental" types of death, yearly.

Meanwhile, people who truly wish to die have had to fight long legal battles, including those who are in a vegetative state, depressed, in constant severe pain or whatever... and here this woman gets the "blessing" that so many others want but can't get?

Hell, I'm sure there are TONS of prisoners who received life sentences and would happily request a last banquet meal and a dose of what she had to get past the remaining decades of monotony and violence they face in prison.

This world is f*cked up beyond any dream gone wrong, even for all of its beauty. It's just SO antithetical and diametrically opposed across SO many things, the concept of Good and Evil and Black and White are too overly simplistic and never take into account the other two states of duality... the transient state and the null state between both.

Please, I want out.

But i work in the medical field and disagree

I've traveled to many states and worked in multiple hospitals across the country.

The overwhelming majority of healthcare professionals DO care and take their careers very seriously.

That said...certain departments in the hospital have different levels of professionalism. Like in any field...the higher up the career path you go, the more professional the person is.

There are times when a patient must be paralyzed to do certain procedures---like intubation of trachea in a patient with status epilepticus. and during certain surgeries.

That's a pretty fucking huge number, if correct. The person told me about 25-30% are occasional users (stress/hours) but are functional...and 10-15% are full blown addicts that shouldn't be near a patient. Nurses pick up on it right away, but no one reports out of fear of career retribution

My opthalmologist likes Versed for eye surgeries.

Why do they even have that drug there???

WTF and gun deaths are only 32k a year and 60% of those are suicide which tells Me the left only cares about power and removing guns is there first step to achieving it.

Hospitals kill old people. They did it on purpose. They execute the elderly.

I've been under versed numerous times. It's easier to come out of than the heavier stuff, but definitely NOT an anti-anxiety med. More like a "you're gonna take a two hour nap now" type of drug.

Haven't been to a doctor in decades and wouldn't go unless I had a broken bone or was bleeding. I have really only been to a doctor once in my adult life, I'm almost 60 and that was decades ago. I've seen what people in my family have gone through and I'll pass, I'm not participating in that.
