That title is quite sensational. Vecuronium is a fairly, commonly used drug in ERs for Rapid Sequence Intubation. It's a paralytic that is given with a sedative to make intubation easier on patients who can't protect their airways.
But this nurse should have her license revoked. The practice she violated is one of the most basic tenets of Pharmacology, the Five (or Six) Rights: Right Patient, Right Medication, Right Dose, Right Route, Right Time, and (Right Documentation).
What a twat.
