I am Christian but my gut and life experience tells me religion is bullshit

Without conviction and sanctification of the Holy Spirit that list is useless. They already did 1 & 2 without the Spirit involved and clearly didn't believe it and not saved, why would finishing the list without the Spirit produce anymore fruits than the first two.

That is exactly why once saved always saved is so dangerous. A saved christian would never post,

They never were christian or saved, they were sold a lie to fill a seat so some pastor could brag about how many they "brought to Jesus" at the last revival.

How do you know if the person was ever truly saved?

You don't.

Have you looked into his heart?

You haven't.

Only God and His Son know for sure.

Who is saved?

If he invited Jesus into his heart and believed 20 years ago, but doesn't believe it, doesn't live it, speaks against it, and bears no fruit, is he saved? Was he ever saved?

Does it matter to you?

Should he work out his salvation with fear and trembling

or not sweat it?

If you believe in Jesus Christ you are saved. Saved from death for breaking God's laws (nobody could keep them). That death penalty was paid once and for all by Jesus Christ's sacrifice.

He is also showing obedience to the Father. Why? So the fallen angels and their offspring could see the example.

Why?

We all choose to leave Heaven for the thrill of competition. We were also disobedient to God our Father.

So if you say the prayer and believe,

Sincerity is everything, God our Father knows you and your heart, you can say one thing and your heart means another, the Lord knows your heart.

'Once saved always saved" is just man's way of saying all of the above.


I belong to no Church as they have all joined hands with the ecumenical church of the antichrist system. And actually no middle man needed if those of like faith meet together in worship of the only Savior Jesus Christ, who brought eternal Life as a gift to those He loves.

Those are very nice and true words. The 501c3 churches have their own agenda on top of the Lord's.

I find it hard to trust any of them.

Seems pretty clear to me that once saved, always saved is not necessarily true.

I was an atheist until my mid 40s. Then I encountered
God. Also encountered demons. The demons HATE Jesus. Hate him. They love Buddha, Krishna, Mohammed, Allah, et al.

You may not be sure, but I am positive that Christ is my Savior and I absolutely know that there is something to be saved from. Ask God for help with your faith. This is not the time to be waffling.
