She's right. People are saying the same in the UK. The current election system means only one or two main parties ever get into power, while third parties with a huge proportion of the vote get no say.

I am sorry, but the protests were not about fuel prices. The fuel price hike was the straw that broke the camel back.


The protests are about cost of living, political corruption, unemployment, tax evasion, school taxes, etc. etc.

They are against the system, in general.


The effect of this "suspension" announcement will be ZERO.


If anything, people now see that this decision came after VIOLENT PROTESTS...not peaceful ones, and the politicians are afraid and are backing down if they face violent uprisings.

When I see Sarkozy, Hollande, Macron and the ones before them bowing at the CRIF (Representative council of jewish institutions) as soon as they are elected makes me puke.
