you ever consider that maybe since the market is so high now, that the ups and downs will be larger than in the past when it was 10,000?
look at the percentage of how much it has moved, not the number itself.
there is more money circulating the market. 3 times as much as 10 years ago.....

Am I just misremembering? yes 100-200 up and down was pretty normal. now that would be the equivalent of 500-600 at 3 times the market DJIA is down 3% and the NASDAQ is down 3.5% now. Starting to feel like a carsh to me.
