Usually someone heals and learns through helping others. Unless its extreme, most people need to pull away from themselves a bit more and reach out to others more. For ex. sometimes trauma victims of violence or abuse become counselors and work through their issues bonding with and helping others.

I don't think we're supposed to focus overly on ourselves. But enough to have self esteem and empathy with others. Believing you don't count doesn't help either and allows you to neglect the cores in others as well.

If you told them the truth they would form common cause with the county they are actually from.

Try eat mostly organic foods and if you know your blood type Google your blood type diet...

Also, try to do as many push-ups and sit-ups everyday...

Oh, and plenty of water... I use my Brita water filter alot...
