If I am thinking about the timeline correctly, this was about the time Owen started working with Infowars, and Alex got banned.

Owen and Alex probably had some heated phone conversation about their shared grievances with Joe and this was the shitshow result.

Owen Benjamin got too caught up in Twitter wars. He started posting and using racial epithets for shock value and “because he could”, as his way of standing up to political correctness. His actions were ill-advised, there are better ways to oppose PC culture than screaming n***** over and over again just because.

Anyway, Rogan had Benjamin on his show and scolded him for getting so caught up with social media. Benjamin seemed contrite, but 20 minutes into that podcast, Rogan brought on a coked up Kurt Metzger who dominated th next two hours of the podcast, clearly this was an intentional insult to OB.

At first OB was conciliatory, but after a few months his bitterness over the incident broke through. He attacked Rogan on his podcast. Later he attack Jordan Peterson also, for....I’m not sure what, it seemed like it had to do with Peterson’s association with Rogan more than anything else.

Though Rogan seemed to sucker punch OB with the Metzger fiasco, Benjamin has acted like, well, an immature little bitch, over the last year so.
Some may disagree and I don’t like using this kind of characterization, but I have followed the saga somewhat and that is my take.

Rogan has some liberal views, but he is very much opposed to the SJW movements. He is a strong advocate for free speech and gun rights.

Truth, but he needs to choose a side.

I think there is a split between the AJ/Infowars people and the DailyWire/Ben Shapiro people with everone else falling somewhere in the middle, including Jordan Peterson.

I respectfully disagree. There is nothing wrong with holding a variety of viewpoints.

Must I agree with every item on the Republican platform if I am a conservative? No. Of course not.

For example, I am pro-life but against capital punishment, are these contradictory positions because one issue is championed by Republicans and the other by Dems? No.

By asserting that one has to pick one side or the other and adhere to all of the issues advocated by that side is no different from thos who say all black people or all homosexuals or all women have to vote a certain way. It is identity politics. And identity politics is bad, hmm, Okay.

This is the first time I heard about OB’s apology. I’m glad he did it.

Apologizing for something you did wrong does not make a man a pussy. It is much more difficult to apologize than to stubbornly cling to a poor justification.

It's a type of lighting-ttenuation device used by photographersin setups used to light their subjects in a flattering lighting scenarios. Very common, every decent Youtuber uses one.

But, the only way you can tell is by looking at the reflections in their eyes because their is usually a backdrop that is free of any specular reflections that would lend evidence to the contrived nature of the home studio.

TLDR it just looks gay when the YT viewer identifies with the fact that this may just be another dude like any of us.
i.e. blows the suspension of disbelief that there are people out there that can "guide" us.
