Saudi doesn't have much of a military. They leased the US military for years. That deal has ended and MBS has to come up with 500 billion to pay off the military hardware orders he placed with Lockheed, Raytheon and Boeing.

So far MBS has only come up with 5 billion. He was shunned in Algeria and Jordan on the way back from G20 meeting where the only warm welcome was from Putin who is probably waiting for his money too.

MBS thinks he's the Godfather but he's rapidly failing in real life. This means that he will call up terrorists to go against his foes, probably a terrorism attack on US soil soon.

US military deal was over March 2018. US is in the process of pulling out. Saudi is in the process of buying their own military.

Wasn’t even a deal it was a promise to buy billions of dollars worth of weapons in the future.

Well because of sovereignty.
We can't just bomb people we don't like. That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works.

US/NATO is defensive, our militaries defend against attacks. Saudi hasn't formally attacked us. They wrote off 911 and blamed someone else. They paid lots of money for the Las Vegas shooting. They claim ISIS is out of their control. Sure we know differently.

It won't last that long.
Iran just took Venezuela's gold, and thus their oil. That was ours until a few days ago. Our reserves are now lower.

But we have technology in place to go electric in a couple of years so there will only be a small inconvenience in gasoline. Other things, might be worse. Food supply (famine is the biggest killer), communication, travel, medical and emergency response, all these would make us a sitting duck if ISIS is set loose on US Soil.
