I expect a major awakening and fireworks in the next 12 months. This comes from alchemy so the models do not really apply despite all signs pointing to the opposite

Quoting: xenophon I disagree with you in this case. The sun is sleeping. We should see some activity within the next year if things are to return to normal solar activity. But the fact is the last 3 solar cycles at least have had decreased solar output than the one before. Cycle 24 being the strangest. I expect cycle 25 will be quite silent, or maybe even a small strange cycle before it goes silent.
