No. He's the most holy guy preaching God's word.
There hasn't been another since.

Most likely an alien hybrid born through in vitro fertilization. That's the only logical explanation why Mary got pregnant unless she wasn't a virgin.

So if sh wasn't a virgin someone Lying. Either she is or the writers of the scripture.

If she isn't kying, then the writers of scripture are being deceitful. A virgin woman doesn't get pregnant because an invisible entity (God) decides you are now pregnant.

Regardless I believe Jesus is genuine as portrayed in the Bible. But i don't believe the writers actually say who he really is and where exactly he came from.

I believe he is The chosen soul sent from a higher realm by being/s that have a more advanced consiousness compared to compared to our primative consiouness.

And what did we do?
Our primative monkey/pig hybrid asses killed him.

That's chaff. They believe any and every lie they are told because they never search for the truth because they prefer a lie. They're evil, empty people.

It is a rare kernel of humanity that seeks Truth above all.
 Quoting: Pneumati tou Stomatos

"From the spirit of Condemnation proceed accusation, false pity, and false judgment. It feeds itself on the contemplation of evil, and cannot see the good. It has eyes for evil only, and finds it in almost every thing and every person. It sets up an arbitrary standard of right and wrong by which to judge others, and it thinks, “This man does not do as I would have him do, he is therefore evil, and I will denounce him.” So blind is the spirit of condemnation that whilst rendering its possessor incapable of judging himself, it causes him to set himself up as the judge of all the earth." ~ James Allen
 Quoting: WOLF*

I accept that you see us this way, but I can tell you, from my personal perspective, at least, that I am not judging, even if my language seems stronger than I'd like. I earnestly want no-one to perish, and my strongest-held belief is that God is exactly Who He says He is, His Son is, as well, and that we are waiting even now for the End Times, with all the news falling out as it is.

If you believed I would drown if I jumped into a river, would you not try to stop me? Would you not try to prevent me from making a decision that would end my life?

I am doing the same with people who are nonbelievers. I do not wish you to drown, so I am explaining to you that there is a savage river just ahead, and working very hard to keep you from leaping into it.
 Quoting: Pooka

Pooka what do you mean see 'us'? I'm reacting to individuals and their individualized behavior, I'm not reacting to any generalized groups/demographics... I don't view you by your religious affiliation, I view you as a soul (eternal conscious energy) having a temporary human experience... You view me on the basis of your religious affiliation because you brand/designate me as a 'non-believer'... I don't agree with doing this, not in the name of any religion... I don't agree with doing this on the basis of principle... But you are of course entitled to separate/divide people in this manner.

And if we're really being honest, the example of saving someone from visible physical danger that is a threat to their physical well-being - in no way can you compare this to any religious doctrine from any religion claiming that something terrible will happen to you if you don't believe that religion. Claims which require that you must have 'faith' that they are true/valid. You can't verify or test those claims because there is no evidence that you can present. If you don't follow what I'm saying, if Hindus told you that something horrible will happen to you if you die without identifying with Hinduism, are you going to accept their claims? If you tell them that they're wrong, and they say "prove it" - how are you going to accomplish that? You can't prove something wrong for which their is no evidence... Doing this to people is the same regardless of what theology it is done in the name of!

Why would you question whether or not I would try to help someone who was thinking about ending their life? The truth is I have reached out to individuals in the past who expressed suicidal thoughts. Why would any religious affiliation or lack thereof have any pertinence when we are talking about basic empathy and care/concern?

No one is drowning in reality, Pooka... That you think someone is 'drowning' because they don't claim affiliation with one religion/theology among 100+ religions - that is the issue here. That is an unhealthy belief to hold onto and influences you to create division where no such division actually exists. You do not consider yourself in danger of 'drowning' for not identifying with those other 100+ theologies - why is it that you expect other people to consider themselves 'drowning' for not identifying with yours? You expect other people to have a reaction that you yourself would not exhibit had adherents of other religions made similar claims to you. That's not being fair - that's playing favorites.... I cannot agree with any such practice.
 Quoting: WOLF*

Drowning was a poor analogy but the only thing that came to mind on the spur.

I absolutely defend your right to believe as you choose. I simply want to offer you what I have, which is an assurance of eternal life to come. I accept that you do not understand or see that eternal life in Heaven as logical or possible.

If you don't believe in the divinity of y'shua, you at least have to consider that he was devout to the extreme.
What was right and clean to him he did. He sought to do "always those things that please God".

I myself am not so much on the eastern aspects of "all tolerance agape love".
Of course I love you and think you're a fine specimen of a countryman, just don't make me split you with my claymore being a fool.

So what do I think of him? He followed after his passion for the God.
My life has been holy men, sages, drs and goomers. Hillbillies too. I think the Godspell is strong stuff and known many monks who wore no habit nor said his name. They fkd off everything to be what they thought the God wrote them for.

God cannot lie, and God caused His Holy Spirit to impregnate Mary without relations. Your in vitro alien hybrid thing is bothersome. If you believe that technology existed at that time, I am impressed.

You have every right to believe as you choose. We Christians simply carry the message. If you do not accept it, then perhaps someone else will water the seed we planted, or perhaps not. We only carry the message.

Noted and appreciate the acknowledgement.

I absolutely defend your right to believe as you choose.
 Quoting: Pooka

Thank you... If we respect and value our own individual right to formulate our own ideas/beliefs about reality and our existence - then we must also respect and value the right of other individuals to do the same in their own lives (and on their own accord).

The only time it really comes into question is when we perceive that someone is attempting to convince (or indoctrinate) others with ideas that we perceive to be harmful or detrimental. Example (a hypothetical one), someone has the right to hold the belief that if they die without believing the claims of scientology - that they'll be punished/condemned forever and ever as a consequence. They have that right - no one can tell them that they don't have the right to think this about themselves and their own (future) experience. But do they have the right to attempt to indoctrinate the minds of children or other susceptible adults and attempt to psychologically influence (manipulate) them into believing that if they should die without believing the claims of scientology they will experience the same claimed fate? NO, of course not... We would find any such behavior harmful and unethical... But it must be the underlying principle that we find unethical - or else we'd be guilty again of playing favorites... We'd be saying it's okay to treat people this way and plant untestable/unverifiable fear-based thoughts and threats in their mind in an effort to obtain ideological compliance and get them to think/believe as we do - just as long as we do it in the name of the 'right' ideology. Well every adherent of every religion believes they've found the 'right' ideology...

I simply want to offer you what I have, which is an assurance of eternal life to come. I accept that you do not understand or see that eternal life in Heaven as logical or possible.
 Quoting: Pooka

Pooka, you are unfortunately (again) assuming things about me without even knowing the truth of the matter. Did you ask me if I believe in an afterlife experience? Did you ask me my thoughts on 'eternal life'? Did I write anything (anywhere on the forum) about the notion of eternal life (existence) or an afterlife environment as being illogical or impossible? (I haven't done those things, and look at the nature of the video in my signature). What I suspect is happening here (and do correct me if I'm wrong) is that since you designated me as a 'non-believer' in your mind - you are then reacting to a very generalized mental assocation that you have with the notion of 'non-believer' and therefore are inclined to assume that I would hold such perspectives...

The notion of 'eternal' is misrepresented in numerous instances of the bible because of English mistranslations of Greek/Hebrew terms which did not carry that meaning in various contexts within the Greek language. There are scholarly papers on this that speak at great length about how the ancient Greeks used certain terminology in their language. The actual concept of 'Eternity' is supposed to represent the notion of there being no beginning & no end, perpetual existence. Nothing which can be said not to exist at one particular point, and then it starts or begins or comes into existence at another point - it cannot be described as 'eternal'. Anything which can not be present or said not to exist at any point - it can never be correctly classified as 'eternal'. Why? Because it violates the very foundation of what the concept was intended to signify & represent.

I'll illustrate this using familiar reference points. People say that 'God' had no beginning and will have no end, they say that 'God' has always existed, and will always exist, they say that there was never a time when 'God' did not exist. Therefore, they refer to 'God' as 'eternal'. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the application of this concept/term in this context. But then people will take the very same term/concept (eternal), and apply it to something (eternal life) which they claim does not exist presently, but 'eternal life' will only begin/start or come into existence after they die. Do you see the error in how this term/concept is applied? In one context it's (correctly) being applied to something which has no beginning point and has always existed - and then in the other (incorrect) context, it's being applied to something which doesn't exist presently, but will later come into existence and then exist perpetually. It's a clear violation of the principle behind the concept.

If 'eternal life' is valid, then it's valid/true RIGHT NOW and will always be true and there can never be any time when it's not true and present... If we want to create a new concept about things which don't exist and then later come into existence and never stop existing - we need to invent a new term/concept to use because the existing concept of eternal/eternity is not compatible with any such notion.

If you were a guest in my home, I would want to offer you the very best I have. It might be sumptuous, or it might be very poor, but it would be the best I have. In a similar vein, I offer you the very best spiritual information I have. I do not insist you take it - but I want to be sure I offer it.
 Quoting: Pooka

Can I respectfully ask if you were planning on inquiring about what 'spiritual information' I may have to offer you? Did you even allow for that possibility in your mind? Or are you operating from a mindset that is more or less a one way street?

And I enjoy interacting and connecting with people in person. I would gladly be a guest in your home - but maybe not if you had recycled church pews for living room furniture (terrible on your back!)

I think you are a very nice person, very thoughtful and perceptive, and will make the very best decisions you can.

(I haven't done those things, and look at the nature of the video in my signature)

Anything which can not be present or said to not exist at any point can be correctly classified as 'eternal'. Why? Because it violates the very foundation of what the concept was intended to represent.

I'll illustrate this example using familiar reference points.

 Quoting: Pooka

Well thank you for saying that, you come across as a nice person as well and someone who doesn't hesitate to speak what's on their mind (which I can respect because I'm the same way).

Ouch on the church pews!! No, not a one! I only do soft furniture, and Martin Luther figured out that we do not have to do painful penance, so that should have reformed the furniture even in old churches! LOL I believe those hard wood pews were an economical measure. Of course some pastors may have required them to keep his congregation awake enough to listen. Just speculation, mind you.

Yes, I would be happy to read anything you would wish to share about your spiritual beliefs and experiences. I would only add as a caveat that I am quite tired, and thus may not focus as much or as long as would wish, so please accept my apology in advance, if it turns out to be needed.

So you ask a question while being certain you already have the answer, and wish to give your answer in a manner meant to demean and insult. You are not a very nice person. I really would not care to chat with you again. Never having put someone on the ignore list, I may make you the first.

But then again niceness will get you killed.Like the guy who went to the sentinel island to preach lol.You think those Islanders need Jesus in their life? Or are they fine just as they are for 55 000 years now?

Interesting that you would say you are not nice, but that you are necessary, as though you have been given a mission. I almost touched the ignore space, and decided to ask you first why you believe you are necessary, in the application we are discussing.

Because someone who doesn't comment might pick up on it and start digging a little bit on his own with some key word searches .They might even pick up Allegros book that was banned.Sacred mushroom and the cross. But it still isn't as sweet as finding on your own spurred by intuition. That was precisely the essene way to initiate one.No words can describe it You must see and experience it for yourself.Simple as that.its more enchanting that way.
Put me on ignore .I could give a shit...

Interesting thought. They are free from all agenda and dont want anybody 2 destroy their culture. I think all Jesus wants is 2 respect everyone's life and their opinion, accept enemies and help your neighbor. your life shows who you are, not your words. Those people are happy, because the are independent, they dont pay taxes and they are still alive without "pharmacy", politics and other nonsense.

Re: For those who are not christian but believe Jesus existed
The Buddhists have texts that describe St.Issas teachings 2000 yrs ago ( Do you believe the Buddhist monks or Catholic / Jews regarding this ?). Go on u tube and just type "Jesus in India" They say Nicholas Notovich was a faker and yes, I believe he embellished his book with some fantasy regarding his travels, but the part of Jesus, I think was real.

During the benediction at the Inauguration of Barack Obama, Reverend Rick Warren referred to Jesus at one point by the name Issa.

Never heard Jesus called Saint Issa? It’s how they refer to him in the Muslim and Hindu worlds, and even the Buddhists are said to conceal a very ancient manuscript in a monastery high in the Himalayas called “The Life of Saint Issa, the Best of the Sons of Men.” The story of the existence of that manuscript, that fills in the missing years of Christ and describes his travels as a young man in India — and even has Jesus exhorting the Hindus to stop worshiping idols and give up the caste system — has been resoundingly debunked in much of the Christian world for nearly a century.

If Jesus were alive today,he would be posting on GLP for sure and the MSM would be calling him a Conspiracy Theorist / Right Wing nut.

Interesting point, because nobody knows about His life before 30. There is only one story about Him when He was a kid. I dont think He was average human, He was Son of God. Maybe catholic church is hiding truth from us. Maybe He traveled. Maybe one day we are going to find truth.
If you want to be happy, be.
