Quoting: JustTheFactsPlease No its not BS.. I have attended almost every church group type in my area and every one of them uses it... Lutheran.. Pentecostal.. Presby... and the every day supposedly non denominational. The ONLY church's you would have attended that used this would be those who branched out originally from the Catholic Church. Frankly I don't give a rats ass who recites it or who doesn't...it's a dump truck load of UTTER BULLSHIT anyway, designed to make pompous people feel good about themselves. I am sorry to inform you that you do not live MY LIFE and I know of what I speak... all churches are decendents in the one sense from ROME and still in these days controlled by Rome. There is no necessary hair splitting here.. They all use it . but some not every Sunday bur varying occassions. I am not sure about Mormons though.. I could ask a person I know on that.. And I admit I attended one time a 7th day adventist church as a child so I don't remember... So maybe not "all" but absolutely MOST. Both the Apostes creed and the Nicene creed are evil in their use.. period.. no matter source. Their purpose is to corrupt Jesus christ. And in general it is not encouraged of anybody to recite any CREEDS at all.. let alone subscribe to them...Religious or political or from any club. LOL....that's rich....it is the Catholic church that spun off from Christianity...not the other way around!
