First, I'd like to mention the US Deep State makes Filipino corruption look like a bunch of amateurs.

There have already been 3 priests murdered this year, one in the province I reside. It's my understanding that when Duterte was a child, he was molested by a priest. I don't condone Duterte's behavior, but understand what he is trying to express. Pope Francis is truly the False Prophet usurping the living and legitimate Pope Benedict. He is calling out the hypocrisy of the RCC, who continues to protect their pedophiles.

While he did score points with me when he called Obama the son of a whore. He lost them when he exchanged Philippine territory awarded after the UNCLOS court ruled in favor of Philippines against Chicom's 9-dash claim. He accepted Chinese money and now regrets that decision after President Trump became POTUS. Duterte and Trump are both brutally honest and don't hide their intentions with PC bullshit. I'd rather have someone tell me to my face what they think, then stab me in the back.

Ultimately, this could backfire against Duterte should he decide to run for a 2nd term. 90% of Filipinos are devout Catholics.
