Why do Americans have appalling dentition, and are always complaining about their dentist bills?

Could it be that they eat HFCS all the time, which definitely will fuck your teeth up?

I discount, of course, those Americans that have "cosmetic" teeth.

Most people in the UK don't do that, and prefer to have healthy teeth.

The Bible, I believe, says something about "Whited Sepulchres."

Are we on the same page?

is dental care free in the UK?

it isn't in Canada.

many people here are covered under employer's health plans and self employed buy their own insurance.

the people on welfare have basic coverage as well as seniors.

everyone else pays out of pocket and it is not cheap.

if you take care of your teeth then your costs will be reasonable else they can be quite expensive.

several relatives of mine are dentists so I know what these guys earn in a year.

I bet before the advent of fake fats Brits had good teeth, their diet was full of real food like butter and steak and kidney pie.

Probably somewhere around 1930's just like here in the US

Dentistry to cover up the missing nutrition took a bit longer time to be applied there, now we are the same, I'm thinking.

Of course, your teeth are just the organs that show. The rest of the body is still degenerating, resulting in all those modern diseases that are so "mysterious".

There is "free" National Health Service dental care.

I pay for mine, though.

Here's an anecdote, for you;

My old Mum, she lived to be 89 years old, died with 31 of her original 32 teeth.

She was born in 1929, and "missed out" on the NHS dental "care" program.

I was born in 1954, and went through the NHS dental "care" mill.

ALL my molars, and most pre-molars, were drilled 'n filled, with mercury poison. NHS "dentists" did this, as a matter of course, because the NHS paid them by tooth fillings. So, even if you had perfectly healthy molars, they WOULD be drilled 'n filled.

When most of my molars began collapsing, a few years ago, I had them repaired with ceramic in-fills. And paid for this, out of my own pocket.

Dental care is not free for everyone. If you are unemployed or a pensioner dental treatment is free. If you work dental treatment is expensive.

Truth!

Your teeth can be stained, and crooked, but still super-healthy.

Whereas Americans have a fetish about regularized, Hellyweird ultra-white chompers, that are nasty, and rotting, where you can't see!
