Virtual experience in the world of Vincent Van Gogh

I have developed a greater appreciation for Van Gogh now that I realize he conspired with his brother to fake his own death and move to Tahiti. That was brilliant on both their parts. And did wonders to get Absinthe banned.

Being stuck with the only painting worth looking at being The Irises we have achieved a depth of interpretation which is quite satisfying. Reading from left to right.The red plants in the background
Helianthemum or rock roses which are being supplanted by irises. At the top you can see various of the Helianthemum being transformed into Irises, specifically the yellow "tongues" of the flower signifying singing performing preachers and lawyers. Some of the roses have captured and killed the darkest of the flowers, transforming it into a pure white flower which is presented to the newly sprouted Irises as an ideal.

Who would ever guess that a light skinned pale eyed red head who painted in direct sunlight all day every day would ever develop a cancer on his ear, anyway?

Suppose we interpret the various flowers in this painting as different kinds of people. The rock cardinal flowers may have been so named because of a perceived relation of the color with the similarly colored bird, the cardinal. Cardinal numbers can be thought of as the most fundamental numbers, or the original numbers, because they are the most obviously usable for counting discrete objects. All other functions numbers can serve are based on the counting function, and in this sense too the cardinal numbers are the most basic, or foundational, numbers. So these cardinal people are the ones from whom something is flowing, for those which provide the beginning, or building blocks, of any endeavor. These are the people any project has to start with. The one white flower, being unique, could perform the function of a middle point in the series of people represented by the different flowers. He could be one who transforms the basic people into the more varied blue people, who are not cardinal, not primary or fundamental, but are derived from the basic people or ideas by the white transitional figure's efforts. Or he could be a moderator, keeping the efforts of each group in balance.

Relationship to crest, or crested, as in royal?

Once I go on vacation I'm gonna get some mushrooms and revisit this thread.
