It seems that they have joined the chaos, this is what Macron is achieving by focusing only on Paris.

Once again I say it, it's amazing that someone such as Macron who thinks so highly of himself and thinks that he is such a wonderful President yet it's nearly one month of these protests and still he's never addressed the nation regarding this unrest. Something not quite adding up...

Police didn't win anything. First of all, the protesters are many more than "8,000". How did they count them? The pictures on Champs-Elysées show so many people, certainly more than 20,000, may be more than 50,000 I don't know, but certainly not "8,000".

The fact that Macron resorted to police in its Brutal power shows he is out of other options. He cannot maintain civil order using that option forever, unless he wants to go the way of 20th century dictators. The use of police brutality today Ruined His remaining prestige as president, and risks the prestige of France as a leading Democracy in the EU.

Macron is GONE therefore. No one will risk the EU stability for the sake of one inexperienced politician who makes gross error after error. But he is not the biggest problem. The sooner he formally resigns the sooner the real problems will start to be resolved.

This is sad to see. Bordeaux is such a beautiful city.

I doubt we will ever see the yellow jackets protesting against immigration the same way they are protesting against Macron's fuel tax.

Now the question is... who can overthrow him?

Very sad day & night in Paris. Maybe it’s time to end the ridiculous and extremely expensive Paris Agreement and return money back to the people in the form of lower taxes? The U.S. was way ahead of the curve on that and the only major country where emissions went down last year!
