The French people don't mess around when they get pissed off at their rulers, and these protesters consists of a wide mix of people from both rural and urban areas all equally mad over various issues - not solely a gas tax increase. The situation grew more serious last week as firefighters and even some cops were shown removing their helmets in solidarity with the protesters...
