This is getting really interdasting.

Pence's wife receiving one kind of throws a wrench in it being anything nefarious? Jeb's reaction could have been to something other than an envelope.

It's all speculation at this point.

Maybe it's a condolence card from the royals ..Meghan Markle etc.....

You can see him with it in his hand at 36:09 here: [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] but it appears that he begins to open it and decides against it and closes that flap of the envelope again. No shock registering... perfectly normal. Like it's something that was handed out to participants of the funeral.

The reason that I asked, is that we'd really have something here if we could confirm the sequence (opening/look of shock registering) in real time. If you could go back to the source that you found this and see if anyone posted the vid, as it's not in the one that was posted here, apparently, that would be great.

Those are people attending a funeral, after all, so downbeat, nervous reactions are to be expected.

You can see Laura's mouth open, as she is singing, and she appears to turn around and show the funeral guide to Jeb. Her brother-in-law's mouth is also open singing.

I think he was embarrassed more than anything else by his sister-in-law trying to give him a hint that his singing (lyrics) was off.

This is not the same thing that LilJebby saw... this is something that everyone can be seen with when they open their programs.

Probably something generated by the family or the funeral home.

If you watch the cspan video neither George or Jeb were singing. she was kind of singing however.

Do we have any evidence that a lot of people did not receive these letters too?

Everyone that I've seen open their program in the vid from last night had the small envelopes inside.

I don't want to be the killjoy in this thread, but I think the two of them were reacting in mainly an in-laws-embarrassing-each-other manner. Or sort of like someone telling a person his fly is open.

I still remember when Sean Hannity and his two regular investigative reporters several weeks ago said big news was about to drop, and then nothing happened.

That at least was clear-cut and not a case of reading lips or guessing what's going on in people based on their smiles or frowns.

I'm trying to apply common sense reasoning to this too but one thing is sticking out to me... Carter didn't receive anything. Why did Pence's wife receive one and not even Carter? Or was he just too senile to know he had one? lol not even kidding. Weird, just weird.
