Apart from the racism bit being completely stupid, the shift to renewable energy will not generate more jobs, it will shift jobs though at best, people will lose jobs for not keeping up to date with the tech and others will gain jobs because they are more knowledgeable on the subject.

But in the grand scheme of things, in X amount of years, renewable energy (sun, wind, water) would in theory bring down the cost of energy for certain industries (not the common folk), once the initial cost is paid for and it becomes profitable, it will allow for industries to use more robots, bigger robots, more production lines, for the same costs, robots will be able to produce robots for cheaper, mining will be able to be automated, agriculture will be able to be automated.
Once the cost of energy is lowered, harvested in suffisant quantity, and does not have to be searched for, mined, drilled for etc, there's very little that can't be automated at very low cost compared to human hands.
