Jesus didnt tell us to become christians. He showed us The Way to seek God. He didnt tell us to build churches and become politicians. He was walking among regular people. I personally smoke weed, i like it. I like to smoke it in nature and pray, read bible. It doesnt make me sin like alcohol or other drugs. And i dont smell like weed, because i vape now. being a christian doesnt save you. you can call your self anything you want, but its not you who Decides if you are good or not. People are addicted to many things, america runs on coffee, coffee affects nervous system, heart and other organs. but nobody talks about that, people are tired all the time and they are draining their bodies with caffeine.but if you start talking about it, everyone defends it. People were smoking weed for thousands of years, but it became a problem only 50 or 60 years ago.

Personally, I feel during the creation stage of this universe God saw forward to modern man and knew the stress, anxiety, depression, and various illnesses and He decided to create something to help us using herbs and seed-bearing plants for healing of the nations.
But if you feel convicted about it, then don't partake in it. However, it's not good to project your personal convictions on to others or to tell them they are wrong based on your own feelings.
There's something along the lines of everything is permissible in moderation.

Genesis 1:29-30.

BTW, "meat" means food/consumption. God created the marijuana plant for our use. His concern is not consumption, but over-consumption. He has the same concern with wine.
