Not just that. Their corruption is also made iron-clad because most of them share a left-leaning political orientation. Or a RINO-country-club conservatism, where they don't want to make waves and prefer going with the flow.

As for the Hillary-Obama dyed-in-the-wool liberals. they think leftism/libtardism is somehow a halo around their and other liberals' heads. They believe a cheap game of "I feel your pain" allows them to pull bullshit on outsiders, non-believers, conservatives/rightwingers, the few liberals/apolitical types who take ethics seriously.

Some of them, however, favor liberalism/leftism because they know that ideology is more easily exploited and corrupted. That's why they become resentful of conservatives/rightists and want them ostracized, exiled, censored.
