 I'll ask my five-year-old, tonight, who she plans to vote for in 2020 and what her position is on globalism, tax policy, and the opioid epidemic. Although I haven't asked her, presumably, as a recent beneficiary of my wife's choice not to abort her, she is pro-life, so that might be a problem for people wanting to extend the franchise to first graders. Don't forget to ask what her gender as it should be well established by now and you may be offending 'her' by using the wrong word.  The princess dresses, Barbie dolls, and unending tea parties make me pretty confident she identifies as a "she." But then, as any responsible parent would, we never let her know she had options. By the time she ever hears the prefix "trans," she will have, for many years, already been established as a normal "cisgender," heterosexual, beautiful little ginger girl. She would be a pariah in some places at that age! Perfectly corrected.
