I looked up the debate here or in Sweden, and it happened mostly around 2014.
I read on swedish websites that negerkung meant that he traded with slaves. It was inside a discussion . I was started back then because the word is very much the same here, and it did not mean slave trader.
I looked up some more info, and there is a passage in a Pippi book where black children throw themselves into the dust in front of white children. Did not look that up.

It's part of the "Northern European" DNA standard equipment to have light colored eyebrows so she just paints on what she wants..that must be the style now. 43 years ago I had a teacher who tweezed off all her natural brows and painted on these high arches that perpetually made her look like she was in a state of amazement.
