BREAKING: "Squadron" of B52s escorted by fighter jets heading north from Pond Inlet

I have a friend working for the North-West Comany who is presently in Pond inlet (North-West Baffin Island, like 500miles south of Thule).

He calls me about once a week or so just to catch up and basically keep some kind of communication with the outside world, so he just called me to tell me that he just saw a "Squadron" or B52s escorted by fighter jets heading north.

I asked him to define "Squadron" he said that he didn't get a full count but at least three groups 5 or more per group with another 3-5 fighter jets per group.

I have no idea what if anything that could be foretelling of but it seems fairly significant given whats in the area and the Canadian over-flight.

Also, I am aware of this sounding like "Uncle Intel" so take it as you feel you should, just seemed like GLP might be an appropriate place to find further info.
