Please pray for my wife who goes in for breast cancer surgery this coming tuesday

Prayers for clean margins. I had it 15 years ago, took 12 nodes, 6 were cancer so they kept going until they had enough clean ones.
My husband is a boob man, so I felt bad for him. He kept saying I married you for YOU, not your boobs.
Let her know that you love her no matter what, please.

Been on this ride before. God it’s indescribable.

Shield your wife from all unpleasantness. Hospitals were calling my wife for payment while she was still in surgery. I went hulkshit on the hospital administration and board membin a board meeting. In a very professional asshole kinda way. I’m very passionate. Security was quietly called, I’m a nicely dressed professional asshole.if need be. Very large dark skinned brother entered the room for my sorry ass.. Ha, .Security Captian Fields was my ol football team Mate ‘Beedy“. Priceless

Dispute every medical bill. They will take your last dime even with the best insurance. Get an outstanding not good but outstanding credit/consumer attorney. I beat most hospitable and collection bastards. We’re talking like non owed co pays, $63 for this, 77 for this and 329 for something else. Remember they record all calls. So use your frustration on these bastards and let them take you to court. They can’t argue poor medical services. Just bill. Collections attorneys can not defend the hospitals neglect/poor treatment.Your playing hardball now. Med bills can ruin you!

The Judge (who is usually an elected official) can be your friend. They hate those bastards too.

My iwfesurvived. No r/c they killed my mother 28 yrs ago with the same “new” treatments. I was removed from many drs offices after first male surgeon missed marins 4 times. They are trained for deathly mistakes or failures. They kill people daily.

Teaching hospitals are best. Please do call the Koleman foundation. Much information. There are a few limited services.

I told the surg I was writing my name on the hood of his Porche. With my keys f‘M him. Get female drs and reconstructionists.

Make your wife your Princess, it’s external emotional for everyone. Keep the steel game face at all times. Tell her you love er and couldn’t think of life wi6hout her.

Got a female dr surgeon. 100000% differed.

If they mssed margins, say f’m. Get another drs. If dcis, the double flap gets all tissues out. Replaced abdominal muscles. Hey can keep the nipple now. Wife still has warm boobs, hair, improving metal situation.

Remember, Princess treatment. It’s really hard 4-6 month from now. You can/must do it. Get help with house chores and cleaning. It’s overwhelming.

Only thing that got me thru this is one giant word.

We just got back from the surgeon. The report said tumor size was 1.2, it needed to be under 3. Margins are clean and lymph glands are OK. This gives them the OK to do 5 sessions of twice a day radiation therapy. We are waiting for the tumor genetics report to come back, this will determine if she has to do chemo or not. She is praising the Lord for answered prayers. They installed the radiation devise today and she is in quite a bit of pain.

Please pray that the tumor genetics do not require Chemo. I know she is very concerned about that.

BTW, the surgeon is a Christian woman who openly prays for her patients and both of the surgeons parents pray for every patient.

We go to meet the radiation Dr tomorrow

If there is any complications still, please also look into things to take along with medical procedures, such as curcumin, check into life extensions curcumin cancer, and the studies. I take 3000 mg or 3 grams a day for my arthritis, but you can go very much higher, and pepper extract so it circulates.

And of course cannabis, and look into cancer cures. Not to mention many other methods and dandelion root supplements.

‘Just radiation” is still life draining.

IMO let her heal for a few months, then get pet scan to see if any cancer is left or remains in her body.

Might have to fight for test w insurance.

Please get the other breast imaged w the 3d mg. First drs of ours saw a little something, nothing to worry. It was dcis too. Female drs found easily. Very sad what we must put up with just to live. Fight them all.

Again if it’s not dcis, knowing women beat Vegas is very possible is good.

Keep in touch with your buddies that will just listen. You gotta talk to very close real friends. Or counseling.

Learn to cook, get paper and plates, paper plates, styrofoam cups.

Again imo think hard about radiation. Just my .2c worth.

She had her last radiation treatment today and is feeling good.

We are still waiting to hear the results on the genetic test on the cancer type which determine if she needs chemo or not.

Please pray that she is totally healed and will not need chemo.

I don't pray, but I AM sending hope and energy, for you as WELL as your wife. Everyone thinks of the patient, but it's so hard for the support person(s.) Make sure you're tending to your needs as well, OP, and best to you both!

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!

My wife got her oncotype score back today and it was a 17 meaning no chemo is needed and that the cancer has a low chance of coming back. A score of 25 or over they want to do chemo. Just a few years ago before this testing all women got chemo even though 50% of them didn't need or would benefit from it. She will be on a pill for 5-10 years
