If you read the soldiers' accounts and study how they actually fought the war, you have to wonder

They sure got the good drugs. I never knew they gave them LSD till last year.

You don't know history OP, do you? We never invaded North Korea. Why do you think Truman fired Gen MacArthur during the Korean conflict (it wasn't officially a US War)? Post WW2, US Military Generals knew the threat of communist Russia and China.

General Patton was "killed" because he wanted to invade communist Russia at the end of WW2.

General MacArthur was fired because Truman was afraid of the Chinese sending troops if we invaded North Korea (which China did anyway). In addition MacArthur wanted to support and use Chinese Nationalists (Taiwan) to invade China from the South.

We could've easily stopped the commies after WW2, since none of them had atomic bombs and the massive military we created.

That wasn't TPTB plans. They needed the commies and US to use as pawns to further gain more wealth and power. Now it's the never ending "war on terror".
