Huawei breached those sanctions.

Huawei CFO was subsequently detained in Canada. She will be extradited to United States to stand trail. Hopefully she will be jailed for a minimum 30 years to deter others from breaching US Sanctions

US is Global hegemon .Choice is simple, either comply with US authority, or face severe consequences for your actions. Really very simple, Chinese understood the risks.

No point thinking you are above US authority like China apparently does, then crying when you are arrested to be extradited to United States.

This is an ideal opportunity for United States to make an example of her to deter others. The message sent out will be clear to those who breach US sanctions.
