@IsabelHardman

MPs telling me that the government whips are in a panic in the lobbies, twisting the arms of Tories to try to get them through the correct lobby at the very last minute

Total chaos after Spelman amendment. About-turn from the whips at the last minute.

Good God. Run a country? These pillocks couldn't run a bath.

May isnt backing down, she has to go. There is no time for a 3rd deal or 2nd referendum.

Re: UPDATES: UK govt loses third vote on rotten Brexit deal, motion of no confidence looming? (pg. 71)-UK Government on verge of collapse
The BBC's political correspondent, Vicki Young, says that there are "lots of rumours" that ministers and even Cabinet ministers may well be resigning from government over their votes this evening.

Former leader of UKIP Nigel Farage says that he accepts that the UK may no longer be leaving the EU on 29 March.

He says that the prime minister and Parliament do not have the "will to see it through".

He adds that the withdrawal agreement tabled was a "far worse situation" than being members of the EU.

"In the end, we are going to get Brexit, because the genie is out of the bottle," he says.

Correct from Rees-Mogg.
Motion of House cannot override statute law.
As law stands, we leave the #EU without a deal in 16 days.
