(pg. 71)-UK Government on verge of collapse So many 'what ifs' still at play. BERKow could even end up being the accidental hero of the hour if he refuses to allow May's deal to be brought again to a meaningful vote next week, because of rules that state the exact same thing can't be voted on twice in a single session of parliament. Quoting: NewGeneration2019 Could John Bercow stop Theresa May putting her Brexit deal to Parliament for a third vote? [link to www.telegraph.co.uk (secure)] He gave Theresa a second chance by using that law last time he'll work with Her I'm sure. Whatever he decides, he'll announce it with all the arrogance, bumptiousness and pomposity he revels in. |

(pg. 71)-UK Government on verge of collapse The EU won't extend long enough for us to be able to vote in their May elections. Otherwise they'll be inundated by anti EU MEPs. They're already under pressure from populist parties in Europe who are putting up candidates. If we add ours to that lot the EU won't be able to function. |

(pg. 71)-UK Government on verge of collapse How is that working out for you? lol I keep getting threatened with a fine for refusing to register, IF my vote really mattered would they resort to threats? I refuse to register as I believe it is giving Consent and I don't consent to any of them, ALL the same apart from the colour they wear Yeah I'm off-register too. For an additional, vital reason: i won't sign up because they won't keep my name off the publicly available list of voters/addresses to protect me from a psychopath who spent nearly 12yrs literally trying to murder me. The response of the authorities was appalling throughout, 2 'LEOs' on the local team went to jail for negligence. But still there's no help for people targeted by fixated individuals or any other offender (unless you're royal or in whatever happens to be the politikally korrekt group-of-the month). . So...this is how I know for sure that all this government /MPs/democracy/public services shit is just a fantasy, a well-crafted mirage. Nothing really works well enough in the UK for the vast majority of brits. I don't see merit in consorting with wonky circus ringmasters and shysters. I ignore the threats. |

If the EU granting us a long extension and having us elect members to the EU parliament is the only option available to them to ensure a delay or denial of a no-deal Brexit then that's exactly what they will do. But tptb have brits all sewn up. The last british civil war was centuries ago. The British Republic lasted all of 5or 6 years under a dictator called Cromwell. No one wanted that again. So they made damned sure it can't. |

They can't run a budget if every proposal is blocked by populist MEPs. They literally couldn't function. Best they can do is let us leave and take billions from us for trade deals. |

(pg. 71)-UK Government on verge of collapse Sadly, all too believable. Makes sense of good guy David Davies' sudden, odd resignation from May's so called Brexit team. It makes sense oF May's ultra secret handling of the 'brexit negotiations' all along. She's had 3 years to agree the divorce. 3 more months isn't going to help anything. It makes sense of the massive rebellious mess of Parliament now. MPs of all stripes are now getting a chance to really show their disfavour. (For our American and other foreign friends - this really is the biggest UK government/constitutional crisis in centuries. If fortune and justice prevail it should lead to a modern day Magna Carta.) |

RIP Tony Benn = one of the very best, fairest and most principled PMs we never had. Like John Smith, RIP. Back on topic. So if MPs can now concoct an alternative deal in only 2 weeks , what the fuck have May and her gang been doing for 3yrs?? |
